Votonosi Bridge - Greece

Votonosi Bridge is a twin road bridge on the Egnatia Highway in Greece, situated in the area of Metsovo over the Metsovitikos river.

The bridge has three spans totaling 490 m in length and a central span of 230m. Its construction utilized the cantilevering method. It is the third largest spanning bridge in Greece and one of the 15 largest in the world constructed with the cantilevering method. The project has been completed. The total plan, including the camber design, was the work of the DOMI Partnership with the support of the company EDAFOS LTD regarding soil issues. DOMI Partnership also offered technical support throughout the construction of the project.
