Route

Coming from the airport:

- by taxi: 20-30 minutes depending on the traffic; +/- 30,00-40,00 EUR
- by train: 20-25 minutes; 8,50 EUR single or 17,00 EUR return ticket
  + metro: 5-10 minutes; 2,10 EUR.

How to reach EFCA by train:

There are three main stops in Brussels but the simplest way is to get out at Brussels Midi/Zuid/South.

How to reach EFCA by metro:

From South Station (Midi/Zuid/South):
- line number 2 or 6 (direction Simonis Elisabeth);
- get out in Madou station (seventh stop).

From Central Station (Central/Centraal/Central):
- line number 5 (direction Herrmann-Debroux) or 1 (direction Stockel/Stokkel);
- second stop: change in Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet station;
- line number 2 or 6 (direction Simonis Elisabeth);
- get out in Madou station (this is only one stop further).

From North Station (Nord/Noord/North):
- tramway line number 3 (direction Churchill) or 4 (direction Stalle);
- one strop: change in Rogier station;
- metro line number 2 (Simonis Leopold II) or 6 (Roi Baudouin/Koning Boudewijn);
- get out in Madou station (2 stops).

In the Madou station take exit “chaussée de Louvain”.

When you get out, don’t go straight ahead but turn around and turn left, it’s the second entrance after the corner (= hairdresser).

Dial number 19 or scroll until the name ‘EFCA/FEACO appears and ring the bell. You will need to register at the reception desk for security reasons. EFCA is on the 11th floor. 

How to reach EFCA by car:

Coming from Germany: 
- E40 motorway Aachen - Liège - Leuven - Bruxelles
- follow direction Bruxelles Centre (= tunnel),
- you arrive in the: Avenue de Cortenbergh and continue straight ahead to the:
- Rond point Schuman - take the second right, this is:
- Rue de la Loi - (five lane road) keep right,
- at the top you arrive at the crossing with the inner ring,
- take right: Avenue des Arts and keep right !
- the last but one building prior to Madou is the EFCA building.

Coming from the Netherlands: 
- E19 motorway Antwerp - Mechelen - Brussel
- follow direction Namen/Luik, thereafter:
- direction Luik/Leuven/Brussel, thereafter:
- direction Brussel, thereafter:
- follow direction Bruxelles Centre (= tunnel), you arrive in the:
- Avenue de Cortenbergh and continue straight ahead to the:
- Rond point Schuman - take the second right, this is:
- Rue de la Loi - (five lane road; keep right),
- at the top you arrive at the crossing with the inner ring,
- take right: Avenue des Arts and keep right !
- the last but one building prior to Madou is the EFCA building.

Coming from France:
- E42 motorway Mons - Bruxelles
- after passing exit “Groot-Bijgaarden”, follow the sign ‘Bruxelles Centre’, you are in:
- Avenue Charles Quint - at the end of this street you will see the Basilique of Koekelberg,
- take the tunnels (direction Brussels Centre), until:
- exit Madou
The EFCA Secretariat is on your left hand side.

The parking is located behind the EFCA building in the rue de la Charité n°10. Since the Chaussée de Louvain is only open for public transport, you will have to take another route in order to arrive in the rue de la Charité. MAP

Modern cars are equipped with sophisticated safety systems. Sensor systems decide within 10 to 20 milliseconds of an impact whether to activate airbags. In the future, safety systems will also be able to avoid or mitigate collisions.
