EFCA GAM & Conference 2010

This year's conference, organised by Italian member OICE, will take place in the beautiful and historic Palazzo Corsini, in the Trastevere area of Rome.

On the theme "Climate Change and a new Energy Balance in Europe: the Engineering Challenge", speakers from industry, energy suppliers, certification bodies, legislators and EU institutions will explore innovation in alternative energy technologies against the backdrop of global challenges, and discuss where future investments will be directed in order to restructure the energy supply and increase the energy efficiency of consumption.

Location: Rome

The full programme  includes EFCA and OICE General Assembly meetings and the EFCA Board meeting. There will be opportunity for Young Professionals to meet and network, and the winners will be announced of EFCA's Young Professionals' competition on innovation and excellence.

The social programme includes a welcome reception, and Gala Dinner at the Palazzo Corsini.

To round off the event, accompanying persons may choose the sightseeing trips to the Galleria Borghese Museum and the Vatican. There is also a post-conference tour to Tivoli on offer for participants and their partners.

A shuttle service will be provided from these hotels to the conference venue.
