A week after the catastrophic earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria, with around 30,000 deaths to date and 1M people homeless in Turkey alone, citizens and authorities continue to be overwhelmed by the consequences. EFCA’s Member Association in Turkey ATCEA, is co-ordinating help from its community of consulting engineering firms. On behalf of the Member Associations in the other 27 countries, the Board of EFCA wishes to express support for its member in Turkey and sincere condolences to all the victims and their families. The EFCA community stands ready to mobilise experts who can provide technical support.
